After week two of the NFL season we currently have 9 teams that are 0-2. That’s the Patriots, Chargers, Broncos, Bengals, Texans, Cardinals, Vikings, Bears, and Panthers. Not so great times for fans of these teams. But I like to lift the peoples spirits, so here is what we are gonna do. Let’s go rapid fire, silver lining for everybody in this category. Here is the up side for all 0-2 NFL teams.

Patriots

Tom Brady was your quarterback. You have 6 Super Bowls. Mac Jones looks competent and he hasn’t cried yet this year. You’ve been in the game with a chance against two of the best teams in the NFL. The new lighthouse isn’t stupid at all. You play the Jets next week. Those red uniforms are very cool. That field goal block was sick.

Chargers

Dicker the Kicker is pretty good. Justin Herbert is still young. Derrick Henry didn’t run for over 100 yards against you. I haven’t seen many jokes about the fan base so far this year. The weather is really nice in LA. People barely even remember you lost up by 27 in the playoffs. Joey Bosa had 2 sacks. Austin Eckler will be back eventually. Keenan Allen is still really good. You won the coin toss in overtime.

Broncos

Oh boy. Ummmmm….only 5 more years of Russell Wilson. Sean Payton has won a Super Bowl before. Mile High is a cool nickname. Lots of weed in Denver. That Hail Mary was sweet. Let’s see….you led the Commanders for over half the game. Russell Wilson isn’t on tv commercials nearly as much. Walmart makes a lot of money.

Bengals

You’ve been 0-2 before and things worked themselves out. You still have Joe Burrow. His calf is probably not a big deal and definitely not a major concern. You had a 81 yard punt return touchdown. The Bengals play on Monday night this week. They still have a really good receiver group.

Texans

The offensive line can’t be any worse. CJ Stroud almost threw for 400 yards. I really like DeMeco Ryans. Will Anderson is freakin awesome. The Texans are only 10 point underdogs this week against the Jags. Nico Collins had almost 150 yards receiving. The team logo is pretty cool.

Cardinals

You’ve been competitive in both games and still lost. So the tank is a perfect success so far. I haven’t seen the crazy corny videos of your coach in a few days. He might actually be decent. No Kyler Murray short memes this year. James Connor had a good game. They have the Cowboys next week so you will definitely lose, and losing is good for you.

Vikings

Kirk Cousins is not the problem. Justin Jefferson is still awesome. They are getting closer to having 100 total rushing yards this season. The Eagles are still really good and the Vikings played them close. Last week was a Thursday night game so they have a mini bye before the Chargers this week. There’s no way you lose every game this year. Purple is an interesting color.

Bears

I don’t even know to be honest. I’m really trying to think here. The Bears have two first round picks. And they will both probably be very high, likely top 10. What else? No sacks this week so no roughing the passer penalties right? I think so. Your punter had 232 yards of punts. Um…maybe…I’ve got nothing. I really tried here Bears fans.

Panthers

Another tough one. Bryce Young still has potential. You are really going to help the Bears out with your pick that they have. No picks from Bryce this week. Since there were two Monday night games and yours was so boring, most people watched the other one. So not as many people saw you lose. Bryce lining up behind the right guard for a snap wasn’t that big a deal. The Panthers won the 4th quarter. That’s the most important quarter.

Silver Linings Everywhere

Don’t you all feel better now that I’ve lifted your spirits? So many positives. And if we are going by history it is really hard to go winless all year. So everybody will have their time. Probably.
