Thursday Night Bets I Love

Thursday Night Football Bets I Love

Here’s to hoping that this year Thursday Night Football is better than last year. We got off to a good start with the Chiefs and Lions, and going by last year this week should be a good one too. But most importantly, any game you win money on is a good game, so here is a quick post of all the Thursday night bets I love.

Vikings +6

We will start off with the simple one. The Vikings looked terrible last week against the Bucs. So going against a Super Bowl favorite I don’t really like taking them. I love it. Plain and simple the Vikings play close games. And the Eagles looked a little slow in their opening game too. But 6 is a pretty big number in the NFL. I like the Eagles to win but the Vikings to cover. Then we can all over react Friday morning that the Vikings are 0-2. It just feels right.

TJ Hockenson Over 5.5 Receptions (+110)

On Sunday the Eagles gave up 5 receptions to Hunter Henry and another 3 to Mike Gesicki. Hockenson just got a massive contract and he is without a doubt the number 2 receiving target for Kirk Cousins. He had 8 receptions in their loss Sunday so I think 6 Thursday night shouldn’t be an issue. And it’s plus money. Love it.

Kirk Cousins At Least 2 Passing Touchdowns (-110)

The Vikings didn’t show that they have much of a run game in their first game. They had a total of 41 yards and the Eagles defensive line is awesome. The Vikings should score at least twice and I’m betting that they will be through the air. Mac Jones threw for 3 against the Eagles and I like to think Kirk Cousins is better than him. If you like the Vikings to win, or a high scoring game, I wouldn’t hate taking Kirk to throw 3 as well (+270).

AJ Brown Any Time Touchdown Scorer (+110)

Here’s how my dumb brain works. Devonta Smith got a touchdown pass last week. AJ Brown has a history of being frustrated not getting the ball. So this week is his turn. I’m pretty sure that isn’t how Jalen Hurts thinks, but you never know. Plus Hurts only threw for 1 touchdown last week and that was their only offensive touchdown. They will be better this week and AJ Brown will get his. Plus he has scored 2 touchdowns in 4 Thursday Night Football games. See that I can look up real stats. Credible.

Eagles To Score On Their First Drive (+105)

This goes back to the Eagles looking slow last week. 19 of their points came off of field goals and a defensive touchdown. Jalen Hurts didn’t play a single snap in preseason but now he should be back up to game speed and the offense should be looking to prove a point. They will at the very least get the ball in field goal range on their first possession.

The Big Parlay

I am a big parlay guy. I will have one for basically every game I bet on. I get a lot of hate from friends for it, but would you rather win big or win small? That’s what I thought. One point me. Anyway for Thursday Night Football the picks are: Hockenson ATTS, Hurts ATTS, Mattison under 50.5 rushing yards, Cousins over 38.5 attempts, Mattison over 14.5 receiving yards, Hurts under 250.5 passing yards. That works out to +6600, so $10 wins you $660. If you are way richer than me, $100 wins $6,600. If you do that please share with me. Or at least give a shout or something.

What’s Your Play?

If you have bets that you love for Thursday Night Football, again, please share. I need them. If you like any of these picks and think you’ll take any of them with me let me know! And go check out where i wrote about all my futures for the season here. I said Tua for MVP in that one win he was +2500 and now he is the favorite. That should provide some credibility right? Also go follow my new twitter account here for updates and more picks. Good luck to all!
